Correct letter formation is important to learn from the beginning. A bad habit is very hard to break once learned, a common one is writing all in capital letters.  All letters are formed from the top apart from d and e.  If you are able to, laminate the correct letter formation chart so your child is able to write over the letters with whiteboard marker as many times as the like.
